Kristine Zinna is the kind of woman who doesn’t just push through the hard stuff, she builds something beautiful in spite of it. As the owner and operator of Twine Bulverde, Kristine has created more than just a wine bar,she’s built a whole experience, and her story is one you won’t forget.
Kristine’s journey to opening Twine wasn’t a straight line. Right before the doors were set to open, she faced an accident that would have stopped most people in their tracks. But not Kristine. She has a saying that tells you everything you need to know about her: “There are people who are full of flight or fight, I am full of fight.” That mentality carried her through, and today Twine stands as a living testament to what happens when a woman simply refuses to quit.
What makes Twine so special isn’t just the wine, the food, or the premium cigars, it’s the heart behind it. As a mom herself, Kristine designed the space with families in mind from day one. There’s a playground, a dedicated kids section, and she is constantly brainstorming new ways to keep the little ones entertained so parents can actually relax and enjoy a real moment to themselves.
